FORT WORTH -- Esta Louise Peppers, 91, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, November 5, 2016
Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Visitation: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. an hour prior to the service. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
Louise was born to Bain and Elizabeth McLeod on December 23, 1924 in Emory. She married Raymon Peppers on July 1, 1950 and was married for 64 years.
Louise was a lifelong member of Handley Methodist Church and owned an A&W Rootbeer Restaurant with her husband at one time. She had multiple occupations and retired from the banking industry. The career she took most delight in was taking care of her family and being a mom, which she did with the utmost care and love.
Louise loved cooking for her family and being involved in the lives of friends and family. Her favorite activities included shopping with her daughters, playing dominoes and table games with friends, involvement in church activities and square dancing. Louise will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, one brother and one sister.
Survivors: son, Raymond Peppers and wife, Rhonda; daughters, Teresa Mapes and husband, Bob, Becky McMahon and husband, Jayce; grandchildren, Clifford, Josh, Nick, Peyton, Tanner, Chad, Dylan and five great-grandchildren.
