KENNEDALE -- Eva Jeanette Leach, 81, of Kennedale passed away peacefully on December 27, 2015.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home with a visitation two hours prior from 12 to 2 p.m. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
She was born July 24, 1934 and married the love of her life Don Leach on July 13, 1952.
In addition to raising three children she was a caregiver to many family members. She was a lot of fun to be around and always put others ahead of herself, touching many lives through her generous acts of kindness.
Jan was a faithful member of Fair Park Baptist Church for 50 plus years and touched many young people's hearts by devoting her time as their Sunday school teacher. Second to her family only was her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and son, Donnie.
Survivors: children, Glen Leach, Renee Travis and husband Kent; daughter in law, Mona; grandchildren, Coke Leach and wife Stephanie, Daniele VanHorn and husband David, Rory McGahan and husband Jeremy, Kain Travis and wife Beth, Casey Johnson and husband Mark; great-grandchildren, Austin and Axle Leach, Vaden and Annabelle Travis, Raelynn McGahan, Melody Johnson, one on the way, Oliver VanHorn and one great-great-grandchild, Gatlynn Leach.
