ARLINGTON -- Evelyn L. McGreer, 90, of Arlington died Thursday, March 13, 2014.
Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Emerald Hill Cemetery, the Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Visitation: 11 a.m. Wednesday, preceding the service, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born Dec. 22, 1923, in Cedar County, Iowa, to Albert E. Wagner and Edith Pearl Yerington Wagner. She married the love of her life, Maynard E. McGreer, in Muscatine, Iowa, in 1943. Evelyn was formerly a member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Arlington. She was very active and involved in church all of her life, and missions always held a very special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Maynard; and an older brother and sister.
Survivors: Sons, Dennis and Susan McGreer of Bloomington, Ind., and Jerry and Carol McGreer of Houston; daughter, Carol Camp of Arlington; four grandchildren, Laura Mintz of London, England, Robin Buller of Houston, Katy Phillips of Arlington, and Casey Cooper of Midland; brother, Al Wagner; and seven great-grandchildren.
