FORT WORTH -- Felipa Juarez passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
She was born May 1, 1941, in Adjuntas del Monte, Guanajuato, Mexico, where she started working at the age of 13 to help her family during hard times. Though she did not got to school, she was very business-oriented and industrious, as she ran her own business selling toys. Her hard-working demeanor, which she passed onto her children, was fundamental in the building of a better life for her family.
Felipa was particularly fond of music, spending warm summer days on the lake, cooking for her children and, most of all, she loved to laugh. She was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Felix Martinez, who passed a day before her; her parents, Salome and Hermila; and three children, Juan, Santo and Cuca.
Survivors: Her husband of 52 years, Gregorio; their sons, Jorge, Cristobal, Gerardo, Juan and Rafael; daughters, Margarita and Beatriz; grandchildren, Jerry, Jaime, Rebecca, Rachel, Patricia, David, Johnathon, Michael, Lizette, Raudel, Diana and Rafael Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Ruben, Adrian and Cassandra.
