Fernando Gonzalez Aguirre, 62, of Arlington, TX went home to the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018.
He was born in San Angelo, TX, to Frank and Helen Aguirre on April 15, 1956. He graduated from Central High School in 1975 and lived there until 1999 when he moved to Arlington, TX. Fernando was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked at Sterigenics in Ft. Worth, TX, as a supervisor for the sterilization facility and Complete Music and Events as a DJ for the past 18 years. He was also a gifted musician and played the guitar and bass guitar. He loved all things Texas from Dallas Cowboys football to perfecting his brisket and sharing his barbeque skills with those he loved. He is deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Arlington, TX; his father, Frank Aguirre, Sr.; his twin brother, Frank Aguirre, Jr. and his wife Norma; his children, James F. Aguirre, Clara Austin and husband Brad, Carlos and wife Smita Aguirre, Laura L. Tuiteleleapaga and her husband, Andrew, Steven Aguirre, and stepson, Brandon Alonzo. He was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 2 nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, Kennedale, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the same location with Pastor Scott Oldenburgh of Rush Creek Church, Arlington, TX, officiating.
