ARLINGTON -- Frances "Irene" Beale, 87 years young, peacefully entered her new life in heaven Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, joyfully reuniting with her cherished husband, family members and friends.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Meadow Lane Baptist Church, 1901 Meadow Lane, Arlington. Interment: 1 p.m. in Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meadow Lane Baptist Church, 1901 Meadow Lane, Arlington, Texas 76010, in memory of Irene Beale.
Irene was a devoted homemaker, mother, "sis," Aunt "Rene," grandma, "grandma-great" and a true friend to many. She loved her family, friends and church family, but most of all, her Lord Jesus Christ. Irene loved spending time with her family, quilting, embroidery, gardening, playing piano, working crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and teaching us all to play domino and card games, living life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Earl Beale; son, Barry Bruce Beale and wife, Nancy; granddaughter, Shannon Gail Cherry; parents, John Thomas and Gertrude Schaefer Parker; and siblings, Henry, Bunk, Peggy, Earl and Jack.
Survivors: Children, Bryan Beale and wife, Carolyn, Pam Hubbard and husband, Gary, Paula Taylor and Carol Beale; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Sam Parker and wife, Betty, and James Parker and wife, Freda; and numerous other loving family and friends.
