Francisco Perez

Francisco (Frank) Perez was born on December 3, 1957, to Marcelino and Margarita Perez in Munday, Texas. 

Frank married Angela Martinez on September 14, 2018.

Frank was a hard worker. He worked as a garage door technician and will retire in heaven. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and was always dedicated to serving his family. He was a loyal and loving family member; in fact, he frequently had cookouts at his home for friends and family. Frank loved to go to flea markets to hunt for the best bargains. He loved coin collecting and enjoyed nothing more than watching classic western and horror movies. He was a skilled dancer who loved listening to music, especially groovy tunes. Frank strongly advocated for higher education and wanted everyone around him to prosper. 

Frank Perez is survived by Spouse: Angela Martinez. Children: Daughters- Korina McCarty and spouse Shawn McCarty, Erika Wineglass and spouse Maurice Wineglass, Samantha Huber and spouse Andrew Herring, and Son- Christopher Perez. Stepdaughter: Liliana Cordova. Grandchildren: Matthew Garza, Isaiah Perez, Valerie McCarty, Maia Huber, Eva Huber, Brianna Huber, Claire Perez, Malakai McCarty, Lisette Guerra, Angelina Wineglass, Max Perez, Samuel Guerra, Hailey Perez. Siblings: Mars, Nancy, Rosemary, Robert, Diana, Dolores, Alice, Lydia, Joe, and their significant others. Father: Marcelino Perez. And also survived by 36 nieces and nephews, as well as countless other family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Perez ('07), and brother, Joe Perez ('67). 

Visitation will be on January 17, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm, and the funeral service will be on January 18, 2024, at 10 am at Emerald Hills, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd., Kennedale, TX 76060, with Joe Perez officiating.
