FORT WORTH -- Garry James Bearden, 66, of Fort Worth passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hallmark Baptist Church, 4201 W. Risinger Road, Fort Worth 76123. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 W. Sublett Road, Kennedale 76060.
Pallbearers: Keith Davidson, Johnny Sanders, Kolby Keeling, Vaughn Morehead, David Mathis, Randy Bales and Duane Janssen.
Memorials: If desired, memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Association.
Garry was the proud golf course superintendent for Ridglea Country Club for the past 40 years, and loved the staff and members enormously. He was deeply devoted to his family and friends. Garry will live on through our wonderful memories of him as an exceptional husband, father, brother and friend.
The family wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation for the prayers and special expressions of love that were given to the family during this difficult time.
Survivors: Wife, Elaine Bearden; daughter, Jennifer McClanahan and husband, Patrick; granddaughters, Grace and Lily; sisters, Carolyn Morehead, Sharlotte Mott and Nickie Green and their families; and a host of cherished friends.
