Genevieve F. Boyd, 94, of Kennedale passed away Monday, September 18, 2017.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Kennedale. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday at First Baptist Kennedale.
Genny was born May 7, 1923 to James D. and Donnie Faulkner in Arkansas. She moved to Kennedale in 1950 and lived here for the remainder of her life where she raised her family and worked as a Catalog Clerk for Sears. She was a life-long member of First Baptist Kennedale and a beloved Sunday School teacher. She loved her church family as much as she loved her own family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshel C. Boyd; her parents and 7 siblings.
Survivors: Son, Brax Boyd; daughter, Loree Boyd; siblings, A.C. Faulkner, Lora Stott and Joe Faulkner.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Genny's name to First Baptist Kennedale or Liberty Church in Mansfield.
