George H. Schaefer, 89, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

George was a very loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Houston. He was a member of Bisbee Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife of 69 years, Dorothy Schaefer; daughters and their spouses, Diane and Mike Rogers, Dot and Frank Hewell and Brenda and Ed Bradshaw; grandchildren, Tami Pool, Teri Bradshaw, Darrin Hewell, Mindi Penton, Jeff Rogers and Brad Rogers; and eight precious great-grandchildren who loved him very much.
