EVERMAN -- Geraldine "Geri" Sikes, 79, went to be with her loving husband, Henry, on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Interment: Everman Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Geri was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Oklahoma. She retired from the Tarrant County District Clerk's Office and was active in J.C. Penney's Penney Pals. She was loved by all and known by many as "Nana."
Geri was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Sikes; her parents, Albert M and Bessie Mae McKee; and sister, Ouida Gale Lee.
Survivors: Son, Larry Sikes and wife, Becky; daughters, Sherry Wilson, Vickie Dean and husband, Danny, Lisa Blalock and husband, Gary, Le'Ann Baker and husband, Robert; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Pope and husband, Phil; brother, Charles McKee and wife, Juanita; and numerous other family members and friends.
