Irene Gladys Childres went to be with her Savior on May 28th, 2013 just ten days before her 101st birthday.

Irene married her high school sweetheart, Norman Truitt Childres at age 18. As a beloved wife and full-time mother, her life is celebrated by her surviving children, Hoyt Childres, Norma Nessler and Joy Roberts. She was preceded in
death by her husband Norman, sisters Joan and Laverne and brother Jerry.
She is survived by her loving son, Hoyt Childres and his wife Carol, daughter Norma Nessler and husband Otto, and daughter Joy Roberts and husband George. Irene was also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was loved by all.
