Glenn Brown, age 65, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on July 16, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, to Dave and Victoria Brown.

Glenn grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where he graduated from Highland Park High School in 1974. After high school, on October 15, 1974, he joined the Air Force and served for three years, leaving with an honorable discharge.

After leaving the service, Glenn attended Wayne State University for electrical engineering, and received an Associate Degree from Washtenaw Community College. He then worked at Ford Motor Plant as an engineer for two-plus years until he moved to Texas in 1980, where he worked as a printer for Brodnax Printing Company. While working as a printer, he attended El Centro College in Dallas, Texas, and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration in 1986. Later, Glenn also attended Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas, where he received a degree in computer engineering in 1988. From 1988 to 2006, he worked for CBS Broadcasting as a computer engineer; and from 2006 to 2015, he worked at a Fort Worth train station until he was forced into retirement due to a disability.

Glenn married Emily Brown in 1991 in Rockwall, Texas. They were happily married for 30 years.

He enjoyed reading, writing, fixing and repairing computers.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Victoria Brown.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Emily Brown; son, Quinn Brown; siblings, David Wimberly (Patricia), Elizabeth Brown, Christopher Lamar Gerald Brown (Ellen), and Mark Keeman Brown (Yonnie); nieces and nephews, Drelle Brown, Darmar Brown, Victoria Brown, Derika Brown, Desiri Brown, Jerome Brown (Nia J. Brown), Alma Latrelle Brown Pulley (Brian), Willie Rocker, Jr., and Debbonique Murray.
