Harley Glen Cunningham, 80, of Arlington passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Memorials: Donations can be made in Harley's name to the American Cancer Society.
Harley was born December 31, 1936 to Charles and Carmen Cunningham in Skidmore, Texas. He was a graduate of SMU where he earned a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and was on the deans list. Harley was very handy and could build and fix anything. He mastered carpentry, woodworking, plumbing and built many things around his home. He was a jack of all trades that worked extremely hard for his education. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Harley was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carmen Cunningham and sister, Patty Sue Pooley.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Nancy; son, Larry Cunningham and wife Angela; daughter, Sherry Lim and husband Leong; brother, Vernon Cunningham from Arizona; grandchildren, Christopher Cunningham and wife, Erin, Casey Cunningham, Amanda Lim; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Corvus.
