Harrell W. Beard, 86, of Burleson passed away, Friday, July 14, 2017.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.
Harrell proudly served his country in the Air Force and retired from R.E. Sweeney Lumber Company where he was a foreman. He was a hardworking man and an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed fishing.
Harrell was preceded in death by his father, mother and three brothers.
Survivors: Wife of 64 years, Jo Ann Beard; daughters, Karen Snyder and husband Richard, Linda K. Stanfield and husband Don; grandchildren, Gina Carreon, Corey Moore, Andrew Stanfield, Chad Stanfield and six great-grandchildren.
Harrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
