Henry Edward “Ed” Siverson III, 67, passed away on 16, September 2024 at UT Health in Athens, Texas. Ed was born on November 28, 1956, in Kearny, New Jersey to Henry E. Jr. and MaryLou Picklo Siverson.
Ed grew up in New Jersey until the age of 13. He attended Hudson High School. After High School he attended college in Louisiana for the National Elevator Industry Program. He retired from Otis Elevator Company in 2019 after a long career spanning several decades.
Ed served as a youth pastor at Fountain of Faith Church in Arlington. He was also an Elder at Christ Family church until 2000 and then at Vine Fellowship Church until his passing. He was a proud member and chaplain for Iron Kinsmen Motorcycle Ministry for many years.
Ed married Patti in 1976 in New Port Richey, Florida. They were happily married for 48 years. Ed loved God and his family dearly as well as his beloved K9s; Coco and Trumper. He enjoyed family vacations at the beach. He was a master woodworker and enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle.
Ed is preceeded in death by his father, Henry Edward Siverson Jr. and Stepfather, Donald Lee Leffler also, His sister Tamara Siverson.
Ed is survived by his wife, Patti of Kaufman, Texas. Daughters; Christina M. Thomas (Ryan) of Kaufman, Texas and Melissa A Crow (Brandon) of Waxahachie, Texas. His mother; MaryLou Leffler. Grandchildren; Andrew Thomas (Casaundra), RyAnne Thomas, Austin Thomas, Daisy Crow, Lainey Crow. Great Grandchildren; Braelyn Thomas, Brexlynn Thomas, Evelyn Higgins. Siblings; Daniel Siverson, Donna Alexander, MaryLou Cagle (Bruce), Donnette Smith (Allen). And numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation and viewing will be held at Vine Fellowship Church on Saturday September 28, 2024, at 10:00 am to 12:00pm. The Celebration of Life will also be at Vine Fellowship Church Saturday September 28, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm. 5229 Kelly Elliott Road, Arlington, Texas 76017. Followed by a Graveside Service at Hawkins Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
