Ray Holland, 82 passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Fort Worth, TX. Mr. Holland was born in Vaiden Mississippi April 26, 1930, to Delmer and Docia Miller Holland. At the age of 23 Ray met and married the love of his life, Lotte Prasser Holland. Together the two shared a marriage and friendship spanning 59 wonderful years. Ray was a diligent father and attentive husband. He retired from the Department of the Army after 26 years of service.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Johnny and Marion; and sister, Nellie.
He is survived by his wife, Lotte, son, James Holland; daughter, Shirley and her husband Ray Faires, and a grandson, Derek Faires.
A committal service for Ray will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
