FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2 pm at Tate Springs Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas on Friday, October 2, 2015. Interment will directly follow funeral services at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
Denzil was born in Wellington, Texas on October 1, 1939. He spent 29 years teaching school, farm and ranching, custom harvesting and the last 30 years as a real estate broker. He developed large lot rural subdivisions in Dallas, Tarrant, Hill, and Johnson counties. His pride and joy was developing Hidden Valley Estates in Mansfield, Texas, where he built he and Sue's home in 2000 on 6 acres with a windmill, barn and fishing pond. His favorite hobbies were playing poker with his buddies and taking their dog, Skipper, to the Burger Box.
SURVIVORS: His loving wife of 52 years, Tommie Sue Wilson Lacy; son, Dru Lacy and wife, Karen; daughter, Angie Hinson and husband, Jason; daughter, Dena Hawkins; 9 grandkids, Joshua, Jacob, Sarah, Braden, Caleb, Logan, Megan, Morgan and Ashton, whom he loved so very much. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4102 Little Road Arlington, Texas
