ARLINGTON -- Howard Robert Horner journey ended Monday, May 23, 2011. Born in Iola, Kansas on December 21, 1920 but lived most of his life in Amarillo, Texas. Served during WW-2 in the Navy on the USS Mississippi. He retired from The Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor after 41 years . He married the love of his life, Gerry, and they were married 59 years. He loved fishing, The Dallas Cowboys and anything to do with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerry and his daughter Bobbie Jo. Survivors: sons, Joe and his wife M.J., James and his wife Jo, Larry and his wife Sherye and Cymun and his wife Julie; grandchildren; Dylan, Carl, Robin, Sadie, Suzie, Brian and Steve; great grandchildren Angel and Kyle.
