Hubert was born on April 23, 1949 to Arthur Irvin Franks and Stella A. Waldrop in Fort Worth, Texas but lived in Kennedale all his life. He married his wife of 48 years, Mary, and had 2 children together. Hubert worked for Facility Construction Services in Dallas for 35 years as a carpenter. He was also a member of the Victory Tabernacle Holiness Church for 15 years. He loved God and was strong in his faith. Hubert enjoyed hunting and fishing anytime he could but loved his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He wasn’t the kind of man that just stood in the background. He was very transparent and would let you know what he thought about something even if you didn’t ask. Hubert was a lover of life and truly never met a stranger. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Franks; daughter, Meredith Wade and her husband, Charles; son, Jason Franks and his wife, Lisa; brother, William Franks; sisters, Joyce Miller and Katy Hann; four grandchildren, Cameron Wade, Jensen Franks, Kaelyn Franks and Ashley Wade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
