ARLINGTON -- Ryan Skiles, 31, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, Dec. 2, 2012. He was taken away from us much too quickly.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ryan was born July 7, 1981, in Arlington and graduated from Martin High School. He attacked life at full speed, wanting to try everything. He learned landscaping with his dad, then spent several years in the modeling business and traveling. When Ryan returned home he obtained his license as a financial advisor but knew he was destined for more. He began taking medical classes at UTA and was excited to graduate in May 2013. Ryan was very much a family man and had a special bond with each of his brothers. His favorite times were spent boating and fishing with family and friends. We know he is now safe in the arms of Jesus Christ and with his grandparents. They will watch over all of us who remain, until we meet them again.
Survivors: Ryan is survived by his parents, Wade and Elaine Skiles; brothers, Matthew and wife, Shannon, Chris and fiancee, Amanda, and Bryce; Ryan's girlfriend, Oh; nephews, Aiden, Braden and Carson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends; and faithful DeeDee.
