James Spiers

James Kellis Spiers of Fort Worth, died March 18, 2023 at the age of 86 years.   James was born July 28, 1936 in Picayune, MS.

James served in the Army National Guard from "54-'55 before joining the US Air Force from '55 to '57, 3320 Technical Training Wing (ATC). USAF Reserves from '57 to '62. James retired from Harbison-Fishcher in 1985.

James was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Faye Lile Spiers, son Delbert Lee Winters, grandson Lonnie Dee Spiers, parents Chaston Spiers and Mary Magdalene Hoey Spiers and sister Peggy Pearlean Myatt.

Survivors: son Walter O. Winters Jr., wife Debbie of Hillsboro, TX , son James K. Spiers Jr, wife Teresa of Granbury, TX, son Daniel L. Spiers, wife Laura of Granbury, TX, Claudette (Hopper) Winters, wife of Delbert Winters of Whitney, TX, sister Elise Lee Clark of Lumberton, MS; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren & three great-great grandchildren.
