James Vinson

James R. Vinson, 69, passed away on 12/29/2020 at Harris hospital in Fort Worth Texas. He was born on 12/19/1951 in Hillsboro, Texas to William and Ruby Vinson.

James met Brenda in 1980 in Fort Worth, Texas. They were together for 40 years. James was a member of Rendon Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, mechanical projects, Spending time with his children and being Papa to his 6 Grandchildren most of all.

James was preceded in death by Mother and Father.

James is survived by Brenda of Fort Worth, Texas; His Children Alicia (Chad), Eickenhorst, and Robert (Susan) Vinson of Fort worth Texas; grandchildren Zachary, Zoe, Lillian, Clara, Colton, and Bronson.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home at 12pm on 1/4/2021. A visitation will be held from 10 to 12. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Bob and May Wyrick. May thank you for having to putting up with James and Bob both at the same time many times. Bob for being Jame’s best friend confidant and consistent shoulder to turn to during trying times, A friendly face a laughing buddy Trough the good ones, thank you. James Stephens for their many long years of friendship. Toby Hampton for many valuable biblical lessons taught in a manner that James could both understand and enjoy, thank you.
