ARLINGTON -- Jeffrey Christopher Carter, 40, loving husband, father, son and brother, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2008.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Arlington, with his uncle, the Rev. Joseph A. Gietl, and the Rev. Thomas Craig officiating. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, an education fund will be set up for his children, Chris, Jacob and Lauryn.
He was born Jan. 8, 1968, in Southfield, Mich. He attended Martin High School and graduated from TCJC with a A.B. degree.
Survivors: His wife of 16 years, Sheryl Carter; children, Jeffrey Christopher Carter Jr., Jacob Curtis Carter and Lauryn Grace Carter; parents, John and Judy Carter; brother, John Carter and James and Jessica Carter; sister, Julie and Scott Hensley; nieces and nephews, Scott and Todd Hensley and Rachael, John, Shelby and Joey Carter; godparents, Bob and Karen Gietl; in-laws, Alice, Laurie, Johnny, Danny and Sherry; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
