Jerome Francis Forray, 72 of Burleson, went peacefully to be with the Lord July 2, 2022. Jerome was born to Francis Forray and Isabel Forray (Grinsteiner) in Menominee, Michigan, on March 31, 1950.
Jerome Forray grew up in Wallace, Michigan. He graduated from Stephenson High School in Stephenson, Michigan in 1968. After high school he joined the Air Force in 1968 and served approximately 7 and 1/2 years achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War. He began work for Miller Brewing Company in the Brew House where he worked for 36 years.
Jerome Forray married Bonnie Merilyn Mannan on May 9, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas. Jerome and Bonnie had two children, Curtis Forray and Pamela Forray. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, baseball and basketball.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie Forray; Father, Francis Forray; Father-in-Law, Frank Mannan, Sr.; Brothers-In-Law, Frank Houston Mannan Jr. and John Mannan; Sisters-In-Law, Donna Mannan and Tammy Mannan; niece and nephew, Ericka Mannan and Darek Baze.
Jerome is survived by his mother, Isabel Forray and Mother-in-Law, Cleta Bell Mannan (who passed away July 8, 2022); sister, Beverly Fischer and husband Larry; brother, Andy Forray and wife Linda; brother, Roy Forray and wife Ella; children, Curtis Forray and Pamela Forray; sisters-in-law, Juanita Pound and husband Michael, Jennie Eversole and husband Bruce; brother-in-law, Joseph Mannan; sister-in-law, Joy Brown and husband Jerry; brother-in-law, Timothy Mannan; grandchildren, Jordan, Houston, and James Wade; nieces and nephews, Denise, Daryl, Trisha, Gina, Ted, Justin, Nichole, Jason, Keith, Kandi, Brian, Allegra, David, Dustin, Summer, Frankie, Heather, Nathaniel, Derek, Christina, Jeremy, and Shane.
A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060) on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 5PM. Inurnment will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:30AM at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
