Jerrene Sanders

Jerrene Sanders, 73, passed away on July 6, 2021 at her home in Alvarado, Texas.  She was born on May 25, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas to Spud and Lorene Moseley Martin.

Jerrene grew up in Kennedale, Texas. She graduated from Kennedale High School in 1966.  She spent many years working at Bill McKay Chevrolet.  Then was a Finance Clerk in the Oil Division of Bass Enterprises in Fort Worth, Texas for the final 25 years of her working life before retiring away to her Alvarado home.

Jerrene married Eddie Sanders in 1982. They were happily married for 39 years. They enjoyed attending live theater productions and football and basketball games together.

Jerrene was preceded in death by her parents Spud and Lorene Martin.

Jerrene is survived by her husband, Eddie of Alvarado, Texas; son, Matthew (wife Tiffany) Sanders of Mansfield, Texas; step-daughter, Shona (husband John) English of Torquay, Devon, United Kingdom; sister, Cylinda (husband David) Singleton of Honey Grove, Texas; grandchildren, Logan Sanders and Liam, Aran, and Cara English; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park - 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060 at 11:00 am on Friday July 9, 2021.
