Jerry Carroll Vesper, 72, was peacefully called to be with our Lord on April 30th, 2021 at his home in Crowley TX, after his battle with myelofibrosis. He was born at All Saints Hospital, October 8th, 1948, in Fort Worth, TX. along with his twin sister, to James and Naomi Byrom Vesper.
Jerry grew up in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth, TX in 1967. After high school he married Kristy Myatt in 1968.
He had worked various jobs throughout his life from mowing yards, being a sackboy, working as a stereotypist for the Star Telegram, sales for various companies and upper management roles. He was involved in Boy Scouts of America for over 20 years, where he received numerous prestigious awards and enjoyed uplifting the youth of the time. He was a member of Gambrel Street Baptist Church where he also worked with youth as a Sunday School teacher. He was active in the community with PTA ,as the president, for Hubbard Heights Elementary School and Rosemont Middle School. He always enjoyed people and often went above and beyond expectations. In his later years he filled his time with his childhood hobby of model building and amateur electronics.
Jerry was preceded in death by his twin Daughters: Tiffany and Karla Vesper, parents: James and Naomi Vesper, his twin sister Terrie Milbert.
Jerry is survived by his spouse Kristy of Crowley, TX; his sons Jeremy & (Brandy), and Daniel Sr of Venus, TX. His Brothers, Don (Nancy). Ricky. His Sisters: Shirley (Steve). Judy. Grandchildren: Daniel Jr(Brittany), Austin(Ashley), Nicole(Rocky), great grandchildren: Kason, Caspian, Amelia. And his numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 309 Kenney St. Kennedale, TX at 10 A.M. 5-5-21. A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park 500 Kennedale Sublet Rd, Kennedale, TX at 6 - 8 P.M. 5-4-21. The family will be greeting friends and relatives. Burial will follow on 5-5-21 after the funeral at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
