Joe Edward Thomason, 89, of North Richland Hills passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Joe was born Jan. 29, 1927, to Lucy Jane Thomason and Welch Milton Thomason in Amity, Ark. He proudly served his country in the Navy before moving to Fort Worth in 1954. In 1955 he married the love of his life, Palma Edith Adams Thomason, and in 1956 they welcomed their daughter, Pamela. Joe worked for close to 25 years for Bell Helicopter, retiring in 1987. Joe and his wife loved to travel and listen to old country-western music, and he loved his dogs.
He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Palma Edith Adams Thomason; brother, Jimmy Thomason; and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Survivors: Joe is survived by his daughter, Pamela Cloud and husband, Ronnie; grandson, Shane Cloud; and numerous nieces and nephews.
