Jose Bustos

Jose Ismaiel Bustos, 62, passed away on December 17,2021 at home in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on June 2,1959 in McKinney, TX to Daniel Bustos and Josephina Deluna.

Jose was preceded in death by his only sister, Hilda Bustos, only child, Joseph Bustos, daughter in law, Graciela Bustos, only Grand Child, Jade Bustos, Nephews, Marky Flores, Miguel Munoz, Adrian Munoz, Gabriel Munoz and only niece Christina Munoz and their children. He also had many cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

A Lot of you know him as Maiel or may have called him Shorty, I knew him as Dad. It’s certain that many of you have a story or a memory of a tale to tell that is special to you. My Dad was a very energetic man for most of his life until he passed. Many of you remember the leprechaun and him always saying, “Catch me if you can.” I’m sure some of you have even heard him say, “Stop signs don’t stop me.” Maybe some remember him cruising in his car and being Mr. Goodtime. In whatever memory you have of him, hold it dear and share with other family so that he may live on forever in a New York minute. Let us give thanks that Maiel (my Dad) lived his life adventurously, courageously, comically and above all happy to have seen his family grow throughout the years from all branches of the Tree.
