Josephine Sarah Catherine (Cicchino) Faulisi, 84, passed away on April 29, 2022 at Methodist Mansfield Hospital in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on April 30, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Angelo and Antonina (Pantaleo) Cicchino.
Josephine (Jo) grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Waller High School in Chicago, Illinois in 1955. After working for a brief time, she began a life of caring for her family.
Jo married Robert in 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 51 years. In 2006 she moved to Texas to be with her daughter, son-in-law and her grandchildren. She has often referred to this as the best time in her life and the happiest she had ever been. She volunteered at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, and Medical City Arlington where she had met many new people and had begun to socialize with her new Texas friends. To know her was to love her as she always made you feel welcome. She enjoyed cross stitching, playing cards, but mostly she loved her family. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Josephine was preceded in death by her spouse Robert, Antonina and Angelo Cicchino, parents and her siblings Jennie Tomasello, Vincent Cicchino, Frances Hinson, and Anthony Cicchino.
Jo is survived by her daughter Katherine and husband (Jack Grabowski) of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Kristine Sandoval (Justin), Michael Grabowski (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Mila Marie, Luke Michael, Eva Marie and Joey Jack; and her many nieces and nephews who never forgot to call, text, send cards and generally let her know she was always remembered.
A graveside service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060) at 10:00am on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
