ARLINGTON -- Joye Evelyn Dibb, 81, slipped into eternal peace of God's love on Friday, April 25, 2008.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: private family viewing.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to various ministries supported by Arlington Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ: Hearts and Hands Food Ministry, Christ's Haven for Children orphanage, or Elder Care at the Village of Pleasant Ridge.
Joye had many interesting and varied aspects to her life. She was born in Dallas on June 26, 1926. She lived in many cities, including Amarillo, Minneapolis, Sioux City and Albuquerque and had many interesting jobs in management for companies such as Northwest Pipeline Company, Montgomery Ward, Public Service company and Winn-Dixie.
Joye was very creative and expressive in home decorating, gardening and cooking. She did volunteer work with schools and food ministry through Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, where she was a member. Joye had a wonderful sense of humor that she shared with many. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Joye was preceded in death by her husband, Everton.
Survivors: Sons, Kent Prigmore and his wife, Babs, Mitch Malicoate and wife, Celeste; daughters, Dee Ann Ardoyno and husband, Don, Kim Trull and granddaughter, Brenna; sister, Joanne Clepper and husband, Ted; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
