Judith Carter

Judith Anne Carter, age 76, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Arlington, Texas surrounded by her family.  Ms. Carter was born November 25, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph A Gietl and Kathleen Gietl. She married John Smith Carter on June 22, 1963.  Judith was originally from Detroit, Michigan.  She worked as a registered nurse for over forty five years and was a devoted member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas.  Judith possessed an enormous generosity to others and love for life.  She was preceded in death by her husband John Smith Carter; parents Joseph and Kathleen Gietl; son Jeffrey Carter; brothers Joseph and Thomas Gietl; and sister Virginia Gietl.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, John Carter and James Carter and wife Jessica; daughter Julie Hensley and husband Scott; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Carter; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; the Gietl family and many friends.

Memorial service for Ms. Carter will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington.
