Judy Carol Parker, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was born in Sherman, Texas on April 28, 1948.
Judy worked hard her whole life, and set the example for her daughters on how to work hard to achieve the most out of life. She retired from Boeing Electronics after a 30 year career, and even continued working at Bell Helicopter where she eventually retired again to spend extra time with her family. Caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her joy.
Judy resided in Fort Worth, Texas and was a very active member of her church community, Life Fellowship in Hurst, where she had been a dedicated member for nearly 50 years. She worked at Life Fellowship Child Development Center where she cared deeply for each and every child and shared her love for the Lord daily.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Victor Parker, her mother, Mattie Lou Hughes, and her brother, Timothy Ray Douglas.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Toni L. Holmes and her husband Thomas, Carolyn S. Andre, Jennifer L. Bramhall, and Stephanie D. Ricks and her husband Steven; stepdaughters, Gaylena N. Lewis and Ginger E. Parker; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Brenda C. Barnes and her husband Jerry; brother Joseph L. Douglas; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Emerald Hills Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublet Rd., Kennedale, Texas). The graveside funeral will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m.
Flowers may be sent in the care of the Parker family at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Donations, if desired, can be made in Judy Parker’s name to Life Fellowship (760 West Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX 76053).
