Karl Shelby Buehner

Karl Shelby Buehner, 50, passed away November 8, 2023 at his home in Arlington,TX. Karl was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Jeff and Kathy Buehner. He grew up in Mansfield, TX and attended Mansfield High School.

Karl is survived by his parents and sister Anne Davis of Arlington, TX, her husband Jeff, niece Hannah Davis and nephew Hayden Davis. He leaves behind beloved aunts, uncles cousins and close friends throughout the state. Preceding him in death were his precious pets Krugerrand, Scooter and Pinot.

Karl was a dedicated Dungeons and Dragons player and a Dungeon Master for more than 20 years. He loved animals and volunteered to care for animals at Petco and did cat sitting to help out friends. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was blessed to see his Texas Rangers win the World Series.

Karl never wished for formal services, viewings or memorials, so his wishes are respected with a private gathering for closest family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to animal welfare organizations such as the Humane Society.
