Karrey Turner

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, Karrey Ann Turner, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 57.

Karrey was born on December 25, 1961 in Torrance, CA to Ralph and Betty Standridge. She spent most of her career as an administrative assistant in primary education. On September 23, 1989, she married Richard Lee Turner. They raised two daughters, Laurelle and Madison. Madison’s twin, Jessica passed away weeks prior to her birth.

Karrey connected with people through her cooking and her sense of humor. She could always be counted on for a batch of cookies for any occasion of her loved ones or her coworkers. Even while battling cancer, Karrey lifted everyone’s spirits who came in contact with her.

Karrey was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara, and her father, Ralph. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her two daughters, Laurelle and Madison, her mother, Betty, her brother, Michael, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 2:00 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale-Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060.
