Kenneth Carlton Palmer of Crowley, passed away November 13, 2021 at the age of 79. Kenneth was born August 11,1942 in Frostproof, Florida to Carrol and Nina Palmer. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1966. When his military service ended he returned home to Florida and became a police officer for Fort Lauderdale. For the majority of his life, he drove an over the road truck until his retirement in 2002. Kenneth was an exceptional father, grandfather and great grandfather. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor that was passed down through out his family. He had many stories to share. He loved going to Las Vegas and Florida State Football. Kenneth is preceeded in death by his parents Carrol and Nina Palmer, his daughter Terri Castleberry, his grandson Kenneth C Vasbinder and his beloved brothers H.Wayne, Ray and James "Jim" Palmer. Kenneth is survived by his daughters Coni Vasbinder and Randy of Crowley, Sherli Shiver and Frank of Milton, Florida. brother Michael Palmer and Linda of Godley, Sister Janice Purvis and Roy of Jesup, Georgia 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, Dea Davis and Lisa Mitchell who he loved as daughters, a large family and many friends.
