Kenneth Lee Tate, 52, passed away on May 24, 2020 in Arlington, Texas. He was born on January 25, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Lottie Tucker Tate.

Kenny grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Belton High School in Belton, Texas in 1986. After college he began work for M&M Mars as a Mechanical Designer, he then worked for various engineering jobs in the DFW area most recently Ace Aeronautics. During his career, he had a broad range of positions starting with candy manufacturing and progressed to helicopters.

Kenny married Nanette in 1994 in Waco, Texas. They were happily married for 26 years. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, attending drag races, increasing his never-ending toolbox collection, spending time with family and helping other people.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Thomas Tate III.

Kenny is survived by his spouse Nanette of Arlington, Texas; daughter Amy, (Diego), Silva, his sons Brooks and Zachary Tate of Arlington, Texas; his mother Lottie, Fort Worth, Texas; his brother Derek, (Melissa) Tate of Fort Worth, Texas;  and his niece and nephew Aiden and Delayne Tate.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231. Condolences may be left on Kenneth Lee Tate’s online guest book at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
