Larry E. Marsh, 84, retired professional photographer, passed away suddenly Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009.
Service: We will celebrate his life at 2 p.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

Larry was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Anadarko, Okla. He was the only child of Murry and Anna Marsh. He graduated from Seymour High School in Seymour in 1943. He was an award-winning photographer and true artist at the lens as well as the darkroom developing countless pictures over his 40-plus-year career. He was also a handyman and could build or repair just about anything and enjoyed doing so. He was an avid outdoorsman and grew up hunting and fishing. As a beloved husband, father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family, teaching them the joys of living simply.
Survivors: His wife of 56 years, Frankie Marsh; sons, Dale and wife, Lorna, and Shawn Marsh; grandchildren, Whitney, Gage, Tanner, Lindy, Anna, Erin and Erika; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
