Mrs. L. Brown

Betty Louise Brown, of Kennedale, born July 15, 1924 to Jessie and Minnie Cleverly in Bountiful, Utah, passed away May 20, 2013 at the age of 89. Betty married John N. Brown and shared 67 wonderful years as his wife. During that time Betty and John moved around quite frequently. The couple called Thailand home while her husband worked for the government in Vietnam. When he was a warden in Oklahoma, Betty fell in love with the house provided to the warden and his family, best summed up as the Warden's Mansion. Throughout the years she recalled to her family her fondness for Huntington Beach, California as well. She enjoyed was quilting for her grandchildren. Betty and John were dancers. They could out Jitterbug anyone! They shared their time while raising a family with their love for dancing. She was a dedicated member to her faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Betty is remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband John N. Brown.
Those left to cherish her memory include: sons, John and wife Jeanette Brown, Dale and wife Sherry Brown; daughters, Cathy and husband Larry Butler, Cynthia and husband Dale Fink; grandsons, Gerry and wife Monica Brown, Russell and wife Kylie Fink, Kerry Brown, Jon Butler and Brad Butler; granddaughters, Kristie Brown, Kelly and husband Leroy Lattiker, Mindy and husband Guy Peterson, Ginny and husband Matt Berry, Brittany Butler and Lara Fink; great grandsons, Jaxon, Johnson, Judson, Bryce, Chance, and Grant; great granddaughters, Hadley, Gracelyn, Jacuelyn, and Paige; brother, Donald C. Cleverly, many more extended family and dear friends.
