Mrs. Lee Moore Nelms

EVERMAN -- Effie L. Moore Nelms, 95, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
Graveside services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 W. Sublett Rd. in Kennedale. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m Monday, prior to service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos, her son, Roger, two sisters and five brothers.
Effie was born, September 3, 1917 on a Cotton Farm in Delta County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Boss and Dells Moore. She was a woman of great faith and Godly character. She was a homemaker, who loved caring for her family. Being a good Christian Mother was the major purpose of her life. Raising and caring for her husband and four sons was a living responsibility and she treasured each of them. Effie was always active in their lives. She was also always available to help anyone in the community, young or old, family or friends or stranger. She has been the rock of her family. She was an extraordinary woman who touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Survivors: sons, Mike Nelms, Allen Nelms, and Danny Nelms.
