Lillie Mae (Clemmons) Gober of Fort Worth was welcomed home by her loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday February 25, 2019. She was born on April 2, 1929 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Will Clemmons and Mable (Shelton) Clemmons. Lillie Graduated from West Minister High School in Collin County in 1947.
She married Don Gober in 1949. Lillie was a longtime member of the Worth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Christene, and brothers Elmer and Billy.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children (who she loved very much), Darlene Reese and Carol Johnson and husband Charles. She also leaves grandchildren Cleve (Chris) Turnbow and wife Kendra, Sandy Downing, Amanda Johnson, Charles (Andy) Johnson and wife Brandy and Great grandchildren Nevan, Austin and Noah.
Family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday March 2, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale. Funeral service for Lillie will follow at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
