Ms. Linda Baird

March 8, 1950 — September 27, 2012

Linda Diane Baird passed away on September 27, 2012 at the age of 62. (Divorced) She was born in Muncie, Indiana March 8, 1950. Linda graduated from Muncie Central High School. She worked as a medical aid in nursing homes as her main source of income while working other part time jobs. During this time she attended beauty school. Linda had three children, who she loved completely with all her heart, she faced many challenges raising them alone and having one with a mental handicap. She was no stranger to working hard and more than one job at a time. After moving to Texas in 1984 she went to work as a leasing agent at an apartment complex and then as an apartment manager. Linda also worked for Galaxy Health Network with her daughter Michelle for a few years. She became disabled at the age of 52, which put her into early retirement. Mother loved to sing and dance. She had such a beautiful voice. Linda loved to paint ceramics and draw sketches. Some of her other hobbies included baking, cooking, and sewing. Ever resourceful she made many of her children's clothes and pajamas when they were children. Linda had the best sense of humor, always ready to make you laugh. She was a strong, gracious, and warm loving lady with a kind soul. Linda, make no mistake about it, was the kind of lady that said what she meant and meant what she said.
From her daughter: "Go dance and sing with the angels Momma, as one day you said you would. "I love you big"- You were our best friend. We love you and you are so missed."
