Linda Karen Tallent

Linda Karen Tallent, 74, of Mansfield, Tx, passed away on August 12, 2023.  She is now reunited with her husband, Mike Tallent, who she has missed dearly, every day, since his passing in 2016.  Linda is also in the loving arms of her parents, Frances Brewer (“Granny”) who passed in 2021, and Thomas Brewer who passed in 2012, and her brothers Gary Brewer who passed in 1989, and Winford Dale Brewer who passed in 1946.  Linda was born on August 18, 1948, in Fort Worth, Tx, and she remained a Texan throughout her life.

Linda graduated high school from Kennedale High School, worked as a sales representative within the printing industry for 30 years, and then spent the most recent years as a caretaker for her parents and a loving mother and grandmother to her kids and grandkids.  Linda loved her family, and she was always ready to welcome others into her home and into her life.  Linda enjoyed cooking and baking, spending time at the pool and the beach, going on cruises and road trips, quilting, tending to her flowers, watching the Rangers, and being with her dogs.

Left to cherish Linda’s memory is her loving family: Children: daughter, Lisa Rotenberry; daughter and daughter-in-law Mindy and Lisa Reiling; son and daughter-in-law Michael Tallent and Mandy Williamson; Grandchildren who loved her as “Nina”: Jordon Rotenberry, Mackenzie Smetak, Lily Sutherland, Gracey Sutherland, Zaylea Tallent, Alyx Lawless, and Sophia Williamson.  Great Grandchildren: Isaiah, Nevaeh, Serenity, Nova, and Raina.  Brother and sister-in-law Mike and Judy Brewer of Venus, Tx; Sister and brother-in-law Teresa and John Parsley of Burleson, Tx; Sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Chris Devlin of Keller, Tx; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. 

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral home in Kennedale, Tx on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 6-8pm followed by services on Monday at 10:30am. 

The family requests that everyone wear bright colors when attending the viewing and funeral service.
