Linda Mae (Schuck) West, 78, passed away on September 24, 2023, at her home in Kennedale, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Betty (Gilmore) Schuck.
Linda grew up in Dayton. Ohio, where she graduated from Belmont High School in 1962. After high school she attended junior college for business. Linda worked at various banks throughout her banking career.
Linda married Richard on May 18, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio. They were happily married for 55 years. Linda was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.]. She enjoyed traveling, sunbathing, shopping, cooking, crossword puzzles with her daughter, and dress up with her daughter and granddaughter.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Schuck; In-laws, Alvin and Betty West of Dayton, Ohio; and cousin, Suzy of Greenville, Ohio.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Richard West of Kennedale, Tx; her son, Bradley Alan West; daughter, Wendelynn Sue West; granddaughter, Elle Tucker; Uncle Michael (Carole) Eads of Tip City Ohio; and cousins, Gail Williams of Greenville, Ohio, Mickey (Karen) Eads of Ft. Myers, Florida, Jim (Sandee) West, of Huber Heights, Florida; and friend, Kristina Reichardt.
A funeral service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Tx 76060 at 1:00pm, October 14, 2023. A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, October 13, 2023. The family will be greeting friends and relatives this time. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to their neighbors, Kennedale Police Department, Mansfield Police Department, all their friends from Dallas Cowboys across town, Mary Newman from Tender Hearts Hospice, and the staff at Tender Hearts Hospice.
