Linda E. Williamson

Linda E. Williamson, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Medical City Arlington Emergency in Arlington, Texas. Linda was born on November 16, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, to Vergil and Lou Etchieson.

Linda grew up in Dallas and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1964. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

In the early 1970s, Linda began working for Lone Star Gas and Lone Star Producing. As the company evolved, she transitioned to Enserch Exploration and later to TXU.

While working at Enserch Exploration, Linda met Charles Williamson of Lone Star Gas Company, a meeting that changed her life forever. They married in 1978 in Irving, Texas, and shared 46 wonderful years together, cherishing their life with family and dear friends. Linda and Charles were devoted members of Crossroads Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lou and Vergil Etchieson, and her brothers, Johnny and Mike Etchieson.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Williamson of Arlington, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Jim Ketner; nieces, Tawnya Coward and Emily Hendricks; nephews, Greg Tennison, Clint Hendricks, and Rodney Hendricks; great-niece, Kinley Hendricks; and great-nephews, Braxton, John, and Cooper Hendricks.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublet Road, Kennedale, TX 76060.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10:00 AM, followed by burial.
