Mrs. Lockaby

Kathleen L. Lockaby, born November 17, 1931, to Amon and Victoria Hanson in Seattle, WA, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2013 in Fort Worth at the age of 81. At the young age of 16, she was a member of their Seattle Opera Company where Kathy developed a love of music, singing and later dancing. Kathy was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She shared 37 years with her husband Wade Lockaby. Kathy was a resident of Texas for over 60 years. She was a devoted member of Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rosalie and Darlene; grandchildren, Evo Thompson, Kerry "Bubba" Neimeyer and Charlee Michelle Cobb.
Survivors include: children, Cheryl Lovell, Kay Wilcox (Arnold), Debbie Cook, Victoria Runge (Roy), Melody Pierce (Roland), Robert Watson (Sheri), Walter Jesse "Leebow" Watson (Joetta), Valarie Haney (Carl),Brenda Horn (Charles), Teresa Simmons (Billy), and Jerry Lockaby; grandchildren, Tassika, Michael W, Lisa, Timmy, Bobby Joe, Erika, Josh, Michael, Joann, Jeannie, Millie, Amy, Milissa, Millsa, Mathew, Mary, Billy, Teresa, Jerry, Stacy, Jason, and 33 great grand children, more extended family and many friends.
