Lois Diane Myers Crocker passed away on January 10, 2021 at her home in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on April 18, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA to Donald Jay and Desi Pearl Gillingham Myers.
Lois grew up in Lomita, CA. She graduated from Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, CA in 1958. After high school she married Dewey Crocker and moved to Texas. She attended Mountain View Junior College and the University of Texas at Arlington where she studied Art. Lois was a housewife, mother and grandmother. She was involved in the Grand Prairie and Mansfield Art Clubs, and the Fort Worth Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog Club. She was also a very talented artist.
Lois married Dewey Leon Crocker in 1959 in Lomita, CA. They were happily married for 61 years. She enjoyed her family, painting, pottery and pets of all types. She also received numerous1st place and Best of Show awards in art competitions for her paintings.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents (Donald and Dessie Pearl Myers), husband (Dewey Crocker), brother (Paul Myers, and grandson (Levi Daniel Crocker).
Lois is survived by her sons Larry Crocker of Pipe Creek, TX and Darrin Crocker (Vivian Crocker) of Arlington, TX and daughter Diana Mueller (Rodney Mueller) of Mansfield, TX; her sister Mary (John) Crocker of Murrieta, CA; her grandchildren Melissa & Justin Crocker, Amanda Mueller and Chase Shelton; her great-grandchildren Connor and Emma Shelton and Michael Levi Garza; and her numerous nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at The DFW National Cemetery at 12:30pm on Jan. 29, 2021.
