Lois McIver Sheehan, 91, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Burleson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church located at 590 NE McAlister Rd in Burleson. Burial will follow funeral services on Monday at 4:00 PM at Trickham Cemetery in Trickham, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road in Kennedale.
Lois was born in Coleman, Texas on April 30, 1924. She attended Tarleton State University and worked in a variety of fields including civil defense, real estate, and interior design. She was a long time resident of Burleson and an active member of the First United Methodist Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sheehan; two daughters, Karen Brady and Paula Clark; her parents, Bernice and Ida May McIver; and her siblings, Eva Joan Hipes, John David McIver, Patsy Irene Grubbs, Burnie Roy McIver, and Benjamin James McIver.
She is survived by her son, Gene Sheehan; sister, Mary Lou Storm; grandchildren, Laura Moulder, Tom Brady, Justin Turner, Kenny Brady, Jon Turner, and Tim Brady; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren.
