Manuela Ramirez

Manuela Garcia Ramirez, 88, passed away on August 14, 2022 at her home in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on May 31, 1934 in Panuco De Coronado, Durango to Jose and Elvira (Herrera) Garcia.

Manuela grew up in Panuco De Coronado. Her family would eventually move to Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila. Where she met the love of her life.

Manuela married Juan in 1966 in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila. They were happily married for 56 years. Manuela was a member of Everman Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Manuela was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Elvira Garcia and her grandson Ricardo Chico Moreno.

Manuela is survived by her spouse, Juan of Fort Worth, Texas; her sons, Joe, (Cynthia) of [Fort Worth, Texas, Fernando (Joanne) of Fort Worth, Ricardo (Oralia) of Fort Worth, Texas, Juan Garcia Ramirez Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; her daughters, Rosario (Alex) of Fort Worth, Texas, Anna (Ramiro) of Fort Worth, Texas, Angie (Adrian) of Fort Worth, Texas, Rosaura of San Antonio, Texas; her sisters, Virginia Hernandez of Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila and Luisa Govea of Poolville, Texas; her brother, Maximo Herrera (Hope) of Cleburne, Texas; 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at Everman Church of Christ, 1020 Townley Dr. Fort Worth, Texas 76140 at 10am on August 20, 2022. A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Texas at 6pm -8pm, August 19, 2022. Burial will follow the funeral at Emerald Hills Memorial Park 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Texas.
