Marcie Lee Busby, 74, went home to be with her Father in heaven on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
She will be remembered as treasured and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pride in being a Christian. She cherished the time she had with her family. She left this world knowing she was loved. Nothing in life could be a more precious gift.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Busby.
Survivors: Her daughters, Connie Cox (Albert), Berthita Martinez (Arthur) and Penny Flanagan (Don); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Edra Nix and Venita Johnson; brother, Buck Hanks; nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
